Google Drive File Map

Your auditor asked for bank statements. Your bookkeeper needs tax records. A funder, lender, new board member, or client needs to review specific documents.

 

You can hand them a list instead of a folder.

We create a branded Google Sheet that lists every file under its folder, with a link that opens it. It follows folders nested inside other folders, all the way down, and shows the full path to each file.

​

A one-time list is a document. A list that rebuilds itself is a tool.

How it Works

​

  1. Click the button below to tell us about your Drive, your brand, and the files you need to share, and grant us access to the Drive.
     
  2. We build your file map, install it in your Google Sheet, and confirm the finished list is complete and correct.
     
  3. We hand it over so you can use the menu inside your spreadsheet to rebuild the list with one click, or choose a weekly refresh.​

What's included?

Every Google Drive File Map includes:

  • A base price of $425 for one Drive
     

  • A file map tab with every file grouped under its folder, including its full folder path, a live link, file type, size, last change date, and who made the change
     

  • A folder index tab with every folder, a live link, and a file count, so folders still missing documents are easy to spot
     

  • A notes column for tracking details such as "sent to auditor 8/20," with notes that stay in place when the list is rebuilt
     

  • A menu inside your spreadsheet that rebuilds the full list with one click
     

  • An optional weekly refresh
     

  • Your brand colors and typeface
     

  • Installation, testing, and a working handoff

 

The tool lists file details only. It does not open, read, organize, rename, move, or delete your files. It can only list files the setup account can already see.

 

Available add-ons include:​

  • An additional Drive or folder tree for $175 each

  • Custom columns or different grouping for $85

  • A written how-to guide for your staff for $65

  • An unbranded version with no Taylor Tasks footer for $95
